portfolio is $15 million, funded through various donors.
The Vouching Assistant is responsible for
reviewing partner-submitted reports, verifying the accuracy of supporting documents, and ensuring full compliance
with donor regulations and CARE policies, following the provided checklist.
This role reports to the Grants Coordinator.
This is a temporary
position for a definite period of 6 months.

Review partner-submitted documents using an audit
approach to verify
the integrity of internal controls,
ensuring completeness, adherence to policies, and accurate coding
for liquidation.

Prepare and submit to the coordinator expense reports for verified costs.
·
Properly archive all
partner compliance documents and approved reports.
·
Ensure adherence to CARE’s safeguarding policies, including anti-harassment and abuse protection.

And any other duties as assigned
from time to time.

At least a Diploma in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
·
Minimum 1 year of experience in financial accounting.
·
Proficiency in English and computer applications (e.g., email, word processing, excel spreadsheets).
·
Strong skills in teamwork. Knowledge of INGO operations and partnership management is an advantage.
